Bostik S546 Anti Fungus Bathroom and Kitchen Clear Silicone Sealant

Bostik S546 Bathroom & Kitchen Silicone Classic is a versatile neutral silicone sealant for sanitary and kitchen applications which cures by reacting to moisture to form a durable elastic rubber seal. The product is UV and weather resistant.

Limitations

– Not suitable for aquariums and terrariums

– Discoloration can occur in dark places and by contact with chemicals

– Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates

Surface Preparations And Finishing

Application temperature: + 5°C to + 40°C (applies to environment and substrates). All substrates must be solid, clean, dry, and free of grease and dust. Clean substrates with Bostik Cleaner. Bostik S546 BATHROOM & KITCHEN SILICONE CLASSIC adheres perfectly without the use of primer to most non porous substrates. Porous substrates to be pretreated with Primer B1. Always test adhesion prior to application. Use Finisher to smooth the joint.

Paintability

Bostik S546 BATHROOM & KITCHEN SILICONE CLASSIC is not paintable. We recommend covering the edges of the joint with masking tape to prevent surfaces that need to be painted from being contaminated by silicone.

Cleaning

Tools should be cleaned after use with water. Hands can be cleaned with Bostik Wipes and/or water and soap. Cured material can only be mechanically removed.

Shelf Life

In unopened original packaging between + 5°C and + 25°C, shelf life is up to 12 months from production date, stored in a dry place.
